BARTONVILLE - Daniel Lee “Uncle D” Harris, age 60, of Bartonville passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at 4:02 p.m. at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 14, 1956, in Louisville, KY, to Joseph and Elsie (Miller) Harris. They preceded him in death, along with three brothers and one sister. Survivors include one son, Shane Latimer-Harris of Bartonville; one daughter, Shelia White of Pekin; five grandchildren; and five sisters, Angela, Cindy, Dolly, Judy and Rita. Uncle D was a self-employed painter in the Peoria area. Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
