Dorene M Jones

She was born on October 24, 1977 in Peoria to Herman Jerome Jones and Julie Ann Andrews Jones. She was a graduate of Limestone High School. Dorene was dedicated to her family, especially in caring for her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed making crafts, and attending Peoria Rivermen hockey games.

She is survived by the love of her life, Jerry Corbin; mother, Julie Jones; siblings, Laura (Don) Charvat, David “Butch” (Sonya) Jones, Sharon (Neal) Shryock, and Trisha DeMoss; 57 beloved nieces and nephews. Dorene was preceded in death by her father, Herman Jones; brother, Michael Jones; and niece, Shelby Charvat.

Cremation has been accorded, and a memorial service will be held at Remmert Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2PM with Pastor Al Harmon officiating. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lexington, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jones family.
