He was born February 6, 1951 in Peoria to Earl E. and Ruth (DeMoss) Smith. He married Vicky Noel on May 3, 1986 in Morton. She passed away January 23, 2011 in East Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Donna Barton, Veronica Alldredge, one brother: Frank Palladini, and his mother-in-law, Robbie Noel.
Survivors include four children: Robbie Shallenburger, Julie (John) Stringer, Kim (Eric) Pearson, Robert (Alicia) Sumner, one sister, Sueanne (Bob) Hunkapillar, one brother, Andrew (Kathy) Smith, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Earl was a Truck Driver all his life retiring in 2009.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
