

She was born March 14, 1932 in Peoria to George E. and Elsie M. (Arnold) Spring. She married Harold “Don” Fancher in August of 1955 in East Peoria.
Surviving is her daughter Pam (Cliff) Strum of Metamora; 3 grandchildren Tyler Bandy of Metamora, Michael Bandy and Adam Bandy both of Peoria; and 3 nieces Dianne Nyman of Creve Coeur, Linda Odom of Gilray, CA, Carole Phillips of Brainerd, MN; and two nephews Donald Springs of East Peoria and Richard Phillips of Brainerd, MN.
She is preceded in death by 3 brothers Everett, Donald, Clifton; and 2 sisters Helen and Ardean.
Peggy worked over 40 years at Cohen Furniture Company, last working as the Sales Manager for appliances. She later worked for Hallmark Cards as a sales clerk. She attended both ISU and Bradley University.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Remmert Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
