He was born on May 14, 1960, in Peoria, Ill., and was a 1979 graduate of East Peoria Community High School.
Scott Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Howard John Marvin.
Scott Marvin is survived by his mother, Frances E. Marvin of East Peoria, Ill.; one daughter, Ashley E. Marvin of Cleveland, Ohio; one son, Andrew J. Marvin of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Larry D. Marvin of Huntsville, Ala., Thomas S. Marvin of East Peoria, Ill., Daniel A. Marvin of East Peoria, Ill., and Randy R. Marvin of Park Falls, Wis.; and two sisters, Nancy D. Richards of East Peoria, Ill., and Frances E. Taghan of Mackinaw, Ill.
A memorial service will be held at Remmert Funeral Home, Friday, Oct. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.
