Isabelle B. Queen

Isabelle was born on August 27, 1923 in Peoria, IL to Henry H. and Hattie Marie (Hinton) Colvin. She married Marion Lenhart on October 14, 1945 and he preceded her in death on June 1, 1976. She later married John P. Queen on June 30, 1979 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Viola Vogler; her step-son, Ronald Queen and one grandson, Timothy Lenhart.

Surviving are daughters, Raeann Hutchins of Saint James City, Florida and Virginia Hinton of East Peoria, IL; 10 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Isabelle retired from McKesson Robbins in Peoria. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting and was an excellent cook.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11am at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm also at the funeral home.
