Jane C. Sharp Parnell

East Peoria – Jane C. Parnell, 71, of East Peoria, IL, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born August 16, 1943 in Anna, IL to Leon and Ethel (Smith) Sharp. She married Dennis Parnell on October 26, 1963 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are her two sons; Christopher (Jacqueline) Parnell of East Peoria, IL and Shannon Parnell of East Peoria, IL, grandson Declan Parnell, her sister Patricia (Melvin) Marold of East Peoria, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and great nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Jane was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandson. In her younger years, her hobbies included reading, a number of crafts, and gardening.

Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in American Mausoleum.
