Born July 1, 1941 in Peoria to Elmer and Pauline (Nall) Loeffler; she married Rev. Michael Gordon in Peoria on July 4, 1959. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2001 in Peoria.
Also preceding in death were her parents and son, Randy.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Laurie) Gordon of Bayview Gardens, Michelle Lindsey (Jeffrey Allen) of Kenny and Sandy Gordon of Peoria; seven grandchildren: Josh, Hollie, Kevin, Andrew, Dana, Nick, and Sara; twelve great-grandchildren; and her brother, Garry (Sheila) Loeffler of Lebanon, MO.
Judy worked for 20+ years as a plate maker at Versa Press.
She was a member of Harvard Hills Baptist Church in Washington, IL, where she loved to play piano.
Judy crocheted hundreds of hats for underprivileged people, and she loved her pet schnauzers.
Services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with Pastor Danny McCormick will officiate. Burial will follow at Spring Bay Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, November 13 at the funeral home with additional visitation 30 minutes prior to the service on Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the Spring Bay Fire Department or Harvard Hills Baptist Church.
