Margaret "Marg" Allmon

She was born January 26, 1934 in Sweetwater, Tennessee to Paul and Virginia (Purdue) Stout. She married Bill Allmon on April 23, 1955.

Surviving are her husband, Bill of East Peoria; her son Scott (Sandra) Allmon of East Peoria; five grandchildren, Katie Allmon of Morton, Shawn Allmon of Pekin, Mary Allmon of Chicago, Tiffany (Michael) McCoy and Travis Logue all of Decatur; four great-grandchildren, Jack Chismark, Julie Allmon, Easton and Dayton McCoy; and Susan Allmon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Tracy Sue Logue.

Marg loved quilting, knitting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the funeral home. Rev. Gary England will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery in East Peoria.
