She was born Sep. 15, 1921 in Bath, IL to Harvey and Nina (Rohoff) Sisson. She married Albert S. Clemons on May 29, 1941 in Palmyra, IL. He passed away April 4, 1997 in East Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters: Darlene M. Clemons of East Peoria, Karen (Ray) Wilson of Taylors, S.C., two grandchildren: Laura (Greg) Olson of La Crosse, WI, Eric (Lindsey) Wilson of Greer, S.C., four great-grandchildren: Sarah Olson, Nathan Olson, Everly Wilson, Jadon Wilson, one sister, Marion Moss of North Carolina, and two brothers: Marcus Sisson, Teddy (Shelby) Sisson both of Kilbourne, IL.
Marie worked for Caterpillar, Inc. in the Parts and Publication Department for about 25 years. She was a member of the Caterpillar Retirees Club.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
