He was born Dec. 22, 1955 in Peoria to Virgil and Margarette (Frazier) Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Michael Stewart.
Survivors include two daughters, his mother of East Peoria, one sister, Jackie (Steve McRae) Goode of East Peoria, and several cousins.
Phil was a caregiver for his parents. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and all Chicago sports teams.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Assembly Church in Peoria.
