He was born July 8, 1965 in Peoria to Wiley and Berdeena (Ashley) Huggins, Sr. They preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters: Jessica (John) Axelson of Galva, Kate-Lyn Gilbert of Peoria, two sons: Robert Huggins, Jr of East Peoria, Joshua Huggins of Bloomington, four grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters.
Robert was a United States Navy veteran.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
Inurnment will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield at a later date.
