Sheryl M. Lindee, 79, of Metamora, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital. Born in Peoria, on November 30, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Sell) Meyer. On July 4, 1964, she married Dale Lindee. Of Metamora, he survives.
Further surviving are her children, Danica (Jon "Ringo") Williams, and Darren Lindee; four grandchildren, Justin (Sarah) Williams, Hailee Williams, Dylan Lindee, and Damon Lindee; and two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Lux. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry and Sonny Meyer.
Sherry was an unemployment secretary for the State of Illinois for many years. She enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, singing, and visits to Colorado to see her Aunt Donna.
