Colleen Virginia Prout

Colleen Virginia Prout, age 85, of Waleska, GA, passed away Sept. 4, 2014. Surviving are sons; Hugh Ramsey, Bruce Ramsey, and Mark Ramsey, brother; Thomas Atkins, sister; Katie Wynn, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 Ease Point St., East Point, GA. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until service time.

All my life I've been aware of the The Mystery of Life "The Sacred Mystery of Life" the beauty, the struggle, the survival; every day is so wonderous. Even in the cold bleak empty space of winter, every breath is so vital. and spring each year is once more a new and joyous treat, a time for God's miricles of love to be received and held for as long as you can see, and then as long as you can store them in your mind. To take out and review and feast upon and know that you have been. You have been allowed to love and to be loved in return. Some times things are so hard and trying! you tend to forget why you need to fight. But in a moments quite and peace it all returns, and once more in your heart springs, love, God and the need for survival returns.
