

He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Betty (Allen) Ramage; his daughter Angela Ruth Ramage, and his son Joseph Jackson Ramage, Jr. (Jay); daughter-in-law Tracy Heffner Ramage and two grandchildren — Abigail and Grant; and many family members and close friends.
Jack was a long-time resident of East Point, Georgia, where he attended Russell High School (1946) and then later worked for the Central of Georgia Railroad (Norfolk Southern). He met Betty Allen in 1945 at the First Methodist Church in East Point. They married in 1951 while He was serving in the United States Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of College Park United Methodist Church and the East Point Masonic Lodge (later Peachtree City).
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 17, at 10 a.m. at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in East Point, Georgia. Followed by services at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Beth Sanders.
