Ashlynn Taylor Veal

Ashlynn was born in Chattanooga and raised in Ringgold, GA. She was a student at Heritage High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Trion. She loved her friends, facebook enjoyed 4-wheeling, make-up, owls, and just being such an advocate of finding a cure for cancers and loving her family.

She is survived by her mother, Desha “Mommy” (Gerald) Hawkins; father, Scotty (Leah) Veal; brother, John Payne II; sister, Lanie Mae Veal; step brother, Preston Hawkins; step sister, Cassondra Hawkins; maternal grandmother, Vicki “Mama” (Porter) Mathis; maternal grandfather, David “Pop” (Kathy “Granna”) Majors; paternal grandmother, Wanda Browning; paternal grandfather, Dewayne (Peggy) Veal; many loving aunts and uncles including, Shawn and Kelly and cousins, including Jordan; and special Great-grandfather, Bill McEntyre.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2:30 PM with funeral services at 2:30 on Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN with Rev. Warren Moorhead officiating.

Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, GA.
