He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Don was a United States Navy Veteran and was a retired Geologist from Stone Man.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wages Connell; parents, Ezell & John Connell; and brother, John Connell, Jr.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Connell; and brother, Eddie Connell.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 15, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the East Chapel.
Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
