Louise was born on November 21, 1931, in Chattanooga, to the late Clarence and Emma Hughes. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Stewart; and several siblings.
She is survived by her son, Rick Stewart; her grandchildren, Michelle (Joe) Thomas, Travis (Tara) Stewart, Holly (Buck) Watson; multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Browning, Jim Hughes, Walter Hughes, David Hughes, and Joyce Headrick; and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10 AM-12PM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Chattanooga Funeral Home-East Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery, in Chattanooga, TN.
