Georgia Sells Pryor

Throughout the years mom brought joy to so many others with her infectious smile. She loved music and always clapped her hands to every song she heard. Even at the end of her battle with breast cancer and Alzheimer’s she still managed a smile.

Mrs. Pryor was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Pryor; her parents Hershel and Nannie Catron Sells; brothers, Howard Sells and Grady Sells.

Survivors include her children, Karen (David) Gibson of Ringgold, Georgia, Tim Pryor of Ringgold, Georgia, Danny Pryor of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Shellie Gibson and Quinton Gibson of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Betty (Jay) Rigney of Dunlap, Tennessee and Barbara Denney of Byrdstown, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

Sincere and special thanks to Senior Saints staff, especially Josephine; she was mom’s angel on earth. Special thanks also to the nurses and staff of Avalon Hospice and Dr. Abdul Eletr.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Gardner and Shellie Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sequatchie Memorial Gardens in Dunlap, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9-12:30 Wednesday.
