Mr. Aymon was born in Chattanooga and a graduate of Central High School Class of 1960. He was a 25 year member of Temple Baptist Church and retired from the US Post Office after 32 years as a Bulk Mail Clerk and also served as the Union Treasurer. After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed substitute teaching for Hamilton County Schools.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Aymon; mother, Betty J. Moss; and stepfather, James A. Moss.
Surviving are his sons, Wes (Patti) Aymon and Steve “Buddy” (Susie “Suzette”) Aymon; grandchildren, Patrick and Savanna Aymon; sister, Susan Moss (Steve) Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 2 PM on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
