James Quinn, 72, of East Ridge passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2019. James graduated from Kirkman High School. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was also a dedicated worker, when he worked for Collins and Aikman he went 22+ years without missing a single day of work. His favorite pastime was spent camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Franklin and Julia Hall Quinn, and a brother, Don Quinn.
Left behind to cherish James’ memory are his wife, Shirley Quinn, children, Lori Ann Forbes (Greg Brumley), Gail Caylor, and Lamar (Sharon) Gann, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister, Eva Mae (Paul) Lane, brothers, Roger (Debbie) Quinn, and Michael Quinn, and lastly his beloved dog, Molly Jane Quinn.
A Celebration of James’ Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Monday February 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday. He will be laid to rest in the Anderson Memorial Gardens.
