Jeanne Thompson

Mrs. Thompson and her husband are members of Brainerd Baptist Church and the Friendship Bible Study Class. She had previously worked at Royal Desota Company, Shoney’s Inn and Best Western. Doing secretarial work was the love of her life. She will always be remembered for being very kind and caring, giving of herself and always putting others before herself.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Drew and Virginia Jarrell.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Henry Thompson; son, Gregory Thompson of Chattanooga; step-son, Michael Munson of California; one granddaughter; sister, Gail (Mike) Porter of Chino, CA; brother, Paul Jarrell of Chino, CA; sister-in-law, Charlotte Scholtz of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga (4411 Oakdale Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37416) or Gideon International – Chattanooga East Camp (PO Box 8792, Chattanooga, TN 37414).

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Monday and 11 to 1 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 29th at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Moses officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
