JoAnn Mary Zimmerman, 84 of Chattanooga passed away on September 5, 2019 at the Life Care Center in Ooltewah. She was born September 11, 1934 in Jefferson, Wisconsin to the late Erna and Robert Endl, Sr. She married Earlyn Zimmerman on January 1, 1954. She retired after working 13 years in therapy at the Countryside Home in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earlyn Zimmerman and her aforementioned parents.
Left behind to cherish JoAnn’s memory are her children, Clyde Zimmerman,, Ooltewah, and Laurie (Ken) Korth, Concord, North Carolina, three grandchildren; Lindsay Ollis, Opelika, AL., Nolan Ollis, Dallas, TX., and Avery Ollis, Concord, North Carolina.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday September 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Peter Iorio officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until prior to the service at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her husband in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorial contributions be made in JoAnn’s memory to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 501 S. Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412.
