Mrs. Conrad was born on August 16, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and retired from Hamilton County Schools as a cafeteria worker at Harrison Elementary and Brown Middle School. Her hobbies included gardening, baking and watching the Atlanta Braves on TV.
Surviving are her sons, Richard (Teresa) Conrad of The Woodlands, TX and Bruce Conrad of Chattanooga; and grandchildren, Robert, Michael and Allison Conrad.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Conrad; parents, John and Frances Arko; and brothers, John, Frank and Edward Arko.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Father Jim Vick officiating.
