Ms. Kristie Dawn Mallett

She was a 1992 graduate of East Ridge High School and attended Chattanooga State and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She worked as a billing clerk at Atrium Memorial Surgery Center and the Chattanooga Heart Institute and registration clerk at Memorial North Park Hospital. She was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church.

Kristie loved holidays, politics and watching football with her Dad. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest Dukes, John and Rose Mallett.

Survivors include her parents Johnny and Patti Mallett; brothers Johnny Mallett III and wife Donna of Chattanooga and Lucky Mallett and wife Renee’ of Bowling Green, KY; grandmother Ruby Dukes of Ringgold, GA; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday December 5, 2011 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend James Julian officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Birth Defect Center at Children’s Hospital 975 E. 3rd St. Chattanooga, TN 37403.
