Lester Kim Louie

Lester Louie lived in Adairsville, Georgia, but was originally from San Francisco, CA. He was a deeply loved man who was kind, gentle, caring, & patient. He loved to garden and had a beautiful Salt Water Aquarium for many years. Sadly, he was involved in a terrible car accident on October 10th, 2024 that resulted in nine broken bones, and a brain hemorrhage. He was hospitalized for three months until his death on January 20th, 2025.

I will miss him every day for the rest of my life, but 1) He’ll never be sick or in pain again, 2) We had 30 marvelous years together, and 3) His sister Sheila, my mother, and I were with him at the time of his death, and were able to hold his hands when he passed.

He is survived by his husband Stephen Meeks of Adairsville, GA; his sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Geoff Perry of San Leandro, CA; his nephews Ryan and Nathan Perry of San Leandro, CA; his sister and brother-in-law Nona and Robby Testa of San Francisco, CA, his mother-in-law Linda Haga of Rome, GA, and his Father-in-law and mother-in-law Larry and Wanda Meeks of Rome, GA.

A small Celebration of Life will be held for him by Cherry and Richard Green of Adairsville, GA on Friday, January 24th, 2025. A Go Fund Me account has been established in his name.

He will always be remembered and loved by everyone who knew him. Go in peace, my love.
