Marion M. Lomenick

Mrs. Lomenick was born and raised in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for over 40 years since moving to Chattanooga in 1971, where she was very involved with the LWML and various other charities. Mrs. Lomenick was also a member of the Scenic City Friends, with whom she enjoyed traveling, cards and playing games.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Lomenick; and parents, Fred and Gertrude Koop.

Survivors include her children, Dennis (Patricia) Lomenick, Loren (Melinda) Lomenick, and LaDonna Lomenick; grandchildren, Mark (Anna) Lomenick of Germany, Brett Lomenick of Los Angeles, CA, Angel (Justin) Fischer of Oakland, CA, Vanessa Frank of Denver, CO, Laura (Mark) Ellinor of Chattanooga, and David and Colleen Lomenick of Minnesota; great-grandsons, Linus, Colin and Sam Lomenick of Germany; great-granddaughter, Haylie Lomenick of Minneapolis, MN.; brothers, Wilbur, Donnie and Marvin (her twin) Koop; sisters, Doris Mortrud, Micki Jackson, Verna Mostrom and Esther Swords; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, April 14th at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor H. Christopher Sheets officiating and visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lomenick Cemetery in East Ridge.
