Martha Sue Mines, 68, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. She was born October 30, 1944 in Cartersville Georgia. Mrs. Mines loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her mother Annie Ruth Hardy and a brother William Fry. She worked for 21 years at Anderson News.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ellsworth Mines; children Dan(Tracy) Mines, Dalton, Georgia, Tim (Rebecca) Mines, Clarksville, Tennessee and Patricia Mines, Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren Adam Mines, Matthew Mines, Timothy Mines, Jacob Mines and Reegen Bailey; and brothers Dickie Fry and Ricky Fry both of Alabama.
Funeral services will be held10:30 am Friday, December 14 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5-8.
