Mike Frassrrand hired me fresh out of college in 1967 as a foreman in the plant he managed for Combustion Engineering. I worked in that plant under Mike's management for the next twelve years before moving on to other career opportunities. Now reflecting back over the more than thirty five years that have passed since I last worked under Mike's direction I can honistly say I never worked for a better manager or a finer man. Mike Frassrand served as an inspiration and an example integrity in leadership throughout my career in industry and public service. We have all experienced a great loss with his passing.

I was very fortunate to report to Mike early in my career and learned more from him than anyone else in my working life. Always one of my heroes.

Mike was my neighbor and I enjoyed his fellowship; he was a fine man and well respected. He stopped to talk with me at every opportunity and even enoyed my doggies. He will be missed.
