Mrs. Killian was born and raised in Jackson County, Alabama. She also retired as a teacher from Chattanooga Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James William “Bill” Killian; grandson, Ron McDonald; parents, Virgil and Bertha Allen; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Surviving are her daughters, Laura Parker, Barbara Reeves, and Pam Phillips and her husband, Frank Zinna; grandchildren, Rebecca (Shannon) Powell, Tiffany (Jesse) Rose, Rachel (Kelley) Fortenberry and Brandy (Jeremy) Cannon; 6 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Rayford Allen; and sister, Veda Woodall.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 10 AM on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Frank Zinna officiating.
