Nina E. Smith, 99, of East Ridge passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Sunshine Club. She was retired from D.M. Stewart Company, INC and was a member of Senior Friends and the Gold Circle at Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Smith; son Fred C. Smith, Jr.; parents, Jacob Luther and Ozell Bell McCormick; sisters, Georgia Lovella Baum and Willa Dean Hall and two brothers, J. B. McCormick and Billy McCormick.
Survivors include one sister, Pauline Hallett; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM Friday at the funeral home.
