Aunt Jean and her Mother, my Nanny Goodner, always prepared the most delicious Holiday meals. Everything was homemade including all the desserts. They  had to cook for days, I'm sure, and there was always plenty of food for everyone. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and nourishment for the Goodner family. Those days are wonderful memories for me and I'm sure for other family members.
