He was preceded in death by his parents, George Riley and Hettie Vaughn Rorex; brothers and sisters, Elvis; Milton; Luna; Mary Lois; Kenneth; Robert; George; Marie; Josephine; Dean; and a grandson, Bradley.
Left behind to cherish Raymond’s life are his wife of 34 years, Georgia Mae Rorex; a sister, Nancy Swearingin, daughter, Ramona Rorex Branham; son, Randall (Anna) Rorex; grandchildren, William McKinney; Ashley; Andrew; Abby; Tyler; Lexie; Joshua; Michelle; Shannon; Lora Beth; Amy; Cassie; and Phillip, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Raymond’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. EST. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4-8 p.m. EST. He will be laid to rest in the Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
