

Renick was born on January 8, 1944, in Northup, Ohio, to the late Renick and Hazel Lucille Camp Hendren. He was the youngest of eleven children and was preceded in death by his parents, his ten siblings, and his grandson, Hunter Lucas.
He proudly served his country as a United States Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Renick built a successful career and retired as a Senior Sales Representative with Wilmar Industries in Orlando, Florida.
After retirement, Renick found his greatest joy in serving others through volunteer work. While living in Florida, he volunteered with Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, and after relocating to Tennessee, he continued that calling with Avalon Hospice, where he had a special interest in supporting fellow veterans. His compassion, dedication, and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Renick was a devoted member of Covenant Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Hendren; his children, Timothy (Heather) Hendren, Jayson (Tanya) Hendren, Heath “Bo” Hendren and significant other Rebecca Miller, and Cayson Hendren; and his grandchildren, Tabitha Lucas, Tori Hendren, Taylor (Mike) Antes, Jayson “Bud” (Oshia) Hendren, and Jaycob Hendren. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Fisher Lucas, Riley Lucas, Zayden Hendren, and Brixton Hendren.
He is further survived by his niece, Lisa McCaffity, and his nephew, David (Amber) Archie, whom he loved deeply and considered his own. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom loved him dearly and will cherish his memory.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island, Florida.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, January 10, at 3:00 p.m. at Cocoa Memorial Park, 320 Spring St. in Cocoa, Florida.
A celebration of life service will be held in Tennessee at a later date, with details to be announced.
