Richard M. Pearson, 62, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. He was a graduate of Ringgold High School. Richard lived most of his life in the Chattanooga Area. He loved music and had a band called Alfa-Omaga. Richard was an avid Alabama football fan. He will live on in the memory of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Henry and JoAnn Scragg Pearson; two brothers, Vernon “Barney” Pearson and Gilbert Pearson; one sister, Dana Pearson-Knox.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexandra (Christopher) Carroll; former wife, Jo Sutton; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pearson.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.
