Ruth LeCroy Kitchens passed away on February 22, 2020 in Centerville, OH. She was born on Lookout Mountain, GA on May 2, 1924 and grew up in Chattanooga Valley graduating from Chattanooga Valley High School. Following high school graduation, she attended Wiley School of Business. Mrs. Kitchens retired from Cumberland Corporation with 30 years of service. She was a member of East Ridge Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Kitchens, parents Robert Lee LeCroy and Margaret Carlock LeCroy, and sister, Catherine LeCroy North.
She is survived by nieces Annis North Shaver, Centerville, OH and Leslie North Hall, Henderson KY, and one nephew Joe Hitchcock of Lookout Valley, TN.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery on Monday March 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CALDSTED, 3701 Cherryton Dr. Chattanooga, TN 37411 or to a favorite charity.
