Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, the Reverend and Mrs. Paul T. Huling; and grandson, James David Huling.
Coach Huling was retired from East Ridge High School where he served as a teacher and coach for 32 years.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Faye Reeves Huling; sons, Richard W. Huling, Jr. and CSM Micah (Kim Dent) Huling; grandchildren, Hunter, Megan, Meredith, Michelle and Makinsey; two great-grandsons; brothers, Jerry (Yvonne) Huling and Ronny (Deloris) Huling; sisters, Sue Gaither and Sandra (Clifford) Reeves; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Christopher Gaither officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
