Gerald Lambert

Though born on April 8, 1944 in Boston, Gary was raised in Center Harbor, NH. He often spoke of his time in NH and on Lake Winnipesaukee where he perfected his dry New England humor.

Gary is survived by a daughter, Blair Lambert of New York, NY and son, Timothy Lambert, wife Sandra and their sons, Timothy and Travis of Susquehanna, PA.

“Gary” was a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH. He furthered his education at Penn State and upon graduation started his first career as a High School physical education teacher. He later went on to begin is life long career as a salesman for, Tamiment Resort and Country Club in Bushkill PA, French Lick Resort, IN and The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, Shawnee on Delaware, PA where he spent 22 years before retiring on February 14, 2020.

Gary loved to spend his days on the Delaware River, kayaking, hiking the Appalachian Trail and volunteering his time for numerous local organizations. To Gary, every day was a “great day in the Poconos,” and he let everyone know it.

There will be no services, private cremation has been entrusted to Lanterman and Allen Funeral Home. If you would like to celebrate Gary’s life; volunteer, take a hike, paddle the Delaware River, or clean up the side of a road.
