Joyce W. Bush

Born in Stroudsburg on January 19, 1934, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Lucy (Garrison) Weaver. She was educated in the Stroudsburg School System. Joyce devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren and was a lifelong resident of Monroe County.

She was a member of St. John’s Ec Church, Bartonsville; enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and crafts.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her sisters, Virginia Bonser, Ruth Bonser, Mary McAllister, Dorothy Mery, and Elizabeth Funk.

Surviving is her husband of 61 years Paul C. Bush of Stroudsburg; daughters, Diane Schneck and her husband Jim of Stroudsburg, Ruth Bush of Stroudsburg, and Loretta Sebring and her husband Eric of Phoenix, AZ; son, James Bush and his wife Cindy of Swiftwater; grandchildren, Tabitha Bush, Brandon and Courtney Sebring; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg with her pastor Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery, Prospect Street, East Stroudsburg.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2014 from 10:00 A. M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
