Beautiful, sweet, smart, funny and observant. Caleb loved life, he loved art and his siblings. He took art classes at Edmond Memorial High School and discovered his talent for drawing and perspective. He planned to enter the 2D Art program at Francis Tuttle this year.
Diagnosed with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, Caleb was not deterred by his diagnoses, he embraced life and looked forward to the future. In 2015 MDA honored Caleb as MDA Ambassador of Oklahoma, giving him the opportunity to give back to an organization that loved him, helped him, and cared for him as family. His favorite week of the year was MDA Summer Camp. Caleb is survived by his parents, Marlene Smith Pendley of Oklahoma City and Noel Pendley of Edmond; his three siblings Isaac, Micah, and Abigail.
Caleb will be missed dearly by his grandparents, Mary Smith of Chandler, David and Catherine Pendley of Edmond, his uncles: David Smith, Mark Griffin, and Hap Pendley, aunts: Joy Pendley, Suzie Pendley, cousins: Sara Pendley, Chris Pendley, Brooke Pendley, Austin Pendley-Griffin, Willa Pendley-Griffin, Ansel Pendley-Griffin, and his step family: Jennifer Pendley, Elaina Kennedy, Kalvin Gutierrez, and Jonah Alfaro.
