

Dolores Jean Cooley, 77, a lifelong resident of Edmond, passed October 8, 2010. Dolores graduated from Central High School in 1950 and took some courses at Central State College of Edmond. She was born in Edmond, OK to Clyde and Ella Treece, the 3rd of 5 children; Brothers; Denzel Treece of Edmond and Gordon Treece (deceased) of Tennessee, and 2 sisters; Irma Lee and Leatha Steele of Edmond.
Dolores is preceded in death by husband, Bill Cooley and is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Trela Wishon of Edmond, daughter, Terry Smalling of Austin, TX, grandchildren: Chelsea and Jesse Schafer of Stillwater, Fallon and Cody Wishon of Edmond, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Dolores was a lifetime member of Edmond Church of Christ. She worked for Collier’s Magazine, and was a dental assistant for several years. She loved and music and visiting with friends. Her most important accomplishment was homemaker and a great Mom. She was such a great example and tried to see the good in everyone.
