Elizabeth was a nurse, dog groomer, and owner and operator of Lenigers Upholstery on North Boulevard in Edmond for 35 years. She, her husband, and their daughter worked side by side and they had a remarkable reputation throughout the metropolitan area.
She was a woman with many interests and talents. Both her son and daughter recall many fishing trips with their mom. She would get so excited about hooking a fish that she would sling the fish up out of the water so quickly that it would end up in a tree behind them. They laughed and laughed and spent most of their time together getting lines out of trees.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and all seven of her siblings. She is survived by her son, Charles Leniger & his wife Sharon; daughter, Linda Lehr & her husband John; grandchildren: Lorain Snowden, John Lehr Jr., Charlene Tarver, Kaylene Hilton, and Felicia Jones; numerous great- and great-great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
Viewing will be at Baggerley Funeral Home, Sunday from noon to 8pm. Funeral services will be 10am, Monday, at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Seward Cemetery in Guthrie.
