Franklin's journey is remarkable, dedicating thirty years to the U.S. Air Force, reaching the rank of Senior Master Sergeant before retiring. He transitioned into civil service seamlessly, where he continued to serve his country for another 19 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, all six siblings and his son Danny.
He is survived by his wife Joyce of 70 years, daughter Michele Tambunga and husband Neo, son Daryl Manley and wife Tracey, daughter-in-law Denise Manley, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. His family was the joy and pride of his life.
He was a sensitive, kind, fun, caring, and loving Husband, Dad, Papa, and friend. No words can express how much he will be missed
