When I became a teacher in 1977, Geneva was one of the first to reach out and offer resources and ideas for teaching social studies in an engaging way. Her leadership in the Oklahoma Council for the Social Studies helped it to grow into the advocacy organization it is today. My condolences to her family.

Geneva was an outstanding history and civics teacher.  I appreciated her skill both as educator and as author.
