Glenda P. Riley

Glenda Prevett Riley was born in Pocahontas, AR on July 9, 1924, to Dona Amos & Jesse Prevett. Shortly after, the family moved north of Henryetta, OK. She died November 16, 2016, in Edmond, OK. She was married to the late James A. Riley.

Glenda had a wonderful gift of hospitality. You were welcomed in her home with sumptuous meals, affectionate hugs, and contagious laughter. Even though she wasn’t always in the best of health, she always had encouraging words and a grateful heart for her family and friends who were her passion. She had a sparkling wit to make us all laugh and enjoy life.

Her remaining family will miss her greatly; her son, James (Jim) & wife, Robin Riley; her daughter-in-law, Kerry Riley and family; her brother, Everett and wife, Hilda; her granddaughters, Marcie & husband, Tim Bazor and Haley Riley; great-grandchildren, Charli & Stacy Bazor, and Elisha Lewis, Blake and Chase Perry; and many nieces and nephews. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, J.A., her parents, her son, Allan, her grandson, Blake Riley, and 11 brothers and sisters.
