

Henrietta Margareta Martha Lindemann Bean came into this world on Aug. 16, 1919, at Union City, OK, the daughter of Johann Heinrich Lindemann and Clara Ellen Voigt. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 94 on Feb. 18, 2014, in Oklahoma City, OK. As a child, she lived in Union City, Pocasset, Verden and Hinton, but at the age of 16, she made her home in Okla. City and lived there for over 78 years. In addition to her parents, 3 brothers; Bill, Oscar, Ernest and 3 sisters; Amanda, Katherine and Ellen preceded her in death, as well as her husband of 26 years, Raymond Amos Bean (m. Jan. 8, 1941), son, Donald Bean and grandson, Ward Bean. She is survived by 1 daughter, Darlene Perry (Bill) of OKC, 7 grandchildren, Billy Perry (Debra), Vickie Peterson (David), Susan Taylor (Robert), Michael Perry (Robin), Trina Spaugy (Leon), Donald Bean Jr and Steve Bean, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their families. To those who loved her, she was known by many names, Henry (her nickname), Mom, Auntie, Grandma, Granny, Grandma-Great, and G-G. She was confirmed as a Lutheran on June 12, 1932, and became a member of Zion Lutheran Church, OKC, OK, on Nov. 8, 1952. She was a faithful Christian in spirit all the days of her life and active in her church including singing in the choir, serving in the Altar Guild, Offering Counter and Priscilla Circle until the last few years of her life due to declining health. She worked many hard years pressing shirts at Paseo and Swiss Cleaners. She worked at Norick Brothers Printing and became head Proofreader before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the “Red Hot Tomatoes” group in the Red Hat Society. She loved her Lord, her church, her little white house that sat on her land full of pecan trees, her family, her friends, and her dogs. She baked the best coconut cream and chocolate pies in the world. She will be missed by all of her family and dear friends. Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, OK (www.baggerley.com), is handling the arrangements. Her funeral will take place at Zion Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at 7701 W. Britton Road, OKC, OK. Friends and relatives can pay their respects at Baggerley on Friday, Feb 21 from 9am-8pm, and Saturday, from 8am-10am. She will be buried in the Spring Creek Cemetery next to her husband following the funeral service.
