

1941 - 2017
Jane Kimble was born on October 12, 1941 in Kansas City, Kansas to Marion and Mary Lucile Anderson Mulik. Jane went to sleep with the Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 76 after a hard-fought and brave battle with dementia with her son David at her side.
Jane graduated from Blessed Sacrament School and Bishop Ward High School. Jane had various jobs. Her first job was as a soda jerk at Katz Drug Store. She also spent some time working as a switch board operator at Kelly Williams Ford. She graduated from Kansas University Medical Center Nursing School as an LPN. After several moves across the US, she moved to Oklahoma in 1976 where she spent the rest of her life. Most of her working career was as a school nurse and crosswalk guard at Rollingwood Elementary in Oklahoma City. She watched kids out of her home during this time as well. She went to massage therapy school and worked in this field until she switched to child care where she was a cook and teacher until she retired.
Jane's loves included reading, taking walks, gardening, music, and spending time with family and friends. Jane was a very giving person. She served as a Girl Scout leader, a Cub Scout leader, and volunteered in various functions at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Jane is survived by Allan Pinkston of Oklahoma City and their children Chris and Tia Pinkston of Roland, OK, Tom Pinkston of Edmond, David Pinkston of Oklahoma City, Suzanne Pinkston of Oklahoma City, Michael and Emily Pinkston of Yukon; siblings Charles and Dorothy Mulik, Don Mulik, and Virginia and Bob McClain; grandchildren Hailey Pinkston, Caroline Pinkston, Geneva Pinkston, John Pinkston, Kendall Pinkston, and Harper Pinkston. Jane leaves behind many nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren and other family members.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Mary Lucile Mulik, her husband James Ross Kimble, her brother Ken Mulik, and her sister-in-law Judy Mulik.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jane's niece, Annette Foster, for the years of dedicated and daily service and care that she gave to Jane.
The family would also like to thank the staff of South Park East and Valir Hospice for the great care given to Jane during the last couple of years.
A service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK.
