Kathleen M. (Wallace) Podoll, 60, of Edmond, OK, the daughter of Reese and Lucille (DeMarce) Wallace, was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Aberdeen, SD. On July 6, 1973, Kathy married Leland Podoll of Aberdeen, SD at St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Ellendale, ND. Kathy resided in her home in Edmond until her death on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011. Kathy enjoyed Oklahoma City Thunder basketball, crafting, baking, cooking, and was an avid reader. Kathy is survived by her three sons: Joseph (Stephanie) Podoll of Yukon, OK, David Podoll of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Podoll of Yukon, OK; her granddaughter Katelynn; mother Lucille (DeMarce) Wallace; sister Patricia (Charles) Wallace Ingram of Binghamton, NY; two brothers: Mike Wallace of Ellendale, ND and Tim (Kris) Wallace of Alliance, NE; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond, OK with Dr. Joel Baker officiating. Burial will be at St. Helena’s Catholic Cemetery in Ellendale, ND.
