On June 22, 1951, Quitta married Bill Bert Boydstun and together they had two sons, William Ronald and William Gerald “Gerry”. They moved throughout the U.S. during the boys’ younger years, eventually settling in Edmond, OK. Bill passed away on June 2, 1984. On March 5, 1988, she married R.L. Persing.
LaQuitta is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and both Bill and R.L. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and fashion, but most of all she enjoyed her family.
LaQuitta is survived by son, Ron; son, Gerry and daughter-in-law, Tonya of Edmond; granddaughter Gerika Hirsch of Edmond and her sons, Hunter, Landon, and Lincoln; granddaughter Kilee Lamb and husband Joshua of Norman and their children Baylee, Emma, Ryan, and Ransom; granddaughter Jenifer Williams of Edmond and her children Aubree and Dakotah; and great-great-grandchildren Gracie, Iris, and Kyson.
