Nancy’s favorite time of year was fall with memories of her children’s birthday and her honeymoon. Her passion in life was her children and family. Her goal was always to be a mother. She exceeded this goal when she became a Nana.
She loved telling her grandkids fond memories, stories of the family’s track stars, acting, and being silly together. Nancy was always compassionate, humble, kind and forgiving. She never passed judgment on people, was a great listener, and was a Christian woman who was strong in her faith and loved the Lord.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, James Carlton and Onita Dolan Blackman; siblings, Carla Popp and Robert “Bob” Blackman.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Christena Peak and husband Tyler; son, Eric Allen Weaver and wife Kim; grandchildren, Kylie Ann and Kaylee Christena; brother, Carl Blackman and children Joshua and Christina; and many other cousins and friends.
